Learning that continues beyond the school day.
Strata Learning After School supports elementary-age children through thoughtfully designed experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. Programs are offered in partnership with schools and districts and are designed to complement the school day through enrichment, routine, and relationships.

Rather than replicating classroom instruction, Strata After School creates space for children to explore interests, collaborate with peers, and build confidence as learners. Experiences are intentionally designed to support focus, flexibility, communication, and problem-solving in ways that feel engaging and developmentally appropriate.
Our Approach
At Strata, learning continues through experience and connection.
Children strengthen understanding by engaging in projects, movement, and collaborative experiences that invite curiosity and participation. Educators design environments that balance structure and flexibility, allowing learning to remain meaningful without extending the academic demands of the school day.

Relationships, routine, and choice play a central role in how children engage and grow during out-of-school hours.
Supporting Executive Function Development
Strata After School supports the continued development of executive function skills across the elementary years.

Executive function includes the skills that help children manage attention, plan and organize, adapt to change, and work effectively with others. These skills continue to strengthen through middle childhood and are supported through consistent routines, collaborative experiences, and opportunities for choice and reflection.

Before School
TK through Grade 6
Strata’s Before School programs provide a calm, supportive start to the day. The morning environment helps children transition into the school day with ease through consistent routines, light enrichment, and opportunities for connection.
Experiences support focus, independence, and readiness, allowing children to settle in, engage thoughtfully, and begin the day feeling prepared and confident.
After School
TK through Grade 8
Strata’s After School programs support children beyond the school day through balanced, engaging experiences. Learning continues through enrichment, collaboration, movement, and choice, without replicating the structure of the classroom.

Programs strengthen social development, problem-solving, and sustained engagement while giving children space to explore interests, build relationships, and recharge.
